Ballagreyney has been a working farm since the 1950s, but has been derelict since 1995, when it was fully restored by the current owners. Next to two beautiful stone houses is a completely renovated mill, built in 1859, which was originally used to thresh wheat and sorghum.

The surrounding hills and valleys are still family farmed and there are many footpaths and nature trails making it an ideal base to explore the Isle of Man by bike or on foot.

Four hectares of gardens surround the houses – a wildlife refuge. There is also an area specially created for recreational use, such as tennis or croquet, and sports equipment is provided free of charge. Plus, kids and adults alike will enjoy the thrill of the zip line!

The houses have been renovated to a modern standard but retain many of the quaint traditional features, such as wood-beamed ceilings and wood-burning stoves. There is ample parking and a separate laundry room with washers and dryers.

Ballagreyney has wonderful views of the south coast and mountains beyond. It is approximately 3 miles from Castletown, the former capital of the island, and 5 miles from the picturesque villages of Port Erin and Port St Mary. The small village of Ballabeg is 1 3/4 miles away, with a bus service to Port Erin, Castletown and Douglas. A steam railway runs in the summer months from Port Erin via Ballabeg station to Douglas.

Turn left at the roundabout as you exit the ferry terminal and continue to the next area for a further 50 metres. Leave Douglas and turn left at the Quarterbridge roundabout onto the A5. Continue on the A5 to Ballasalla, take the first right and then the left at the second roundabout onto the A7 towards Ballabeg. Continue on the A7 and turn right at the T-junction towards Ballabeg. Take the third right on the B43 between the large White House ‘Parville’ and the ‘Coach House’. Continue for 1.5 miles to a T junction, turn right onto the A27 for 600 meters and you will find the entrance to the park lane on the left. Turn into the lane and drive slowly for 400 meters. Take a sharp turn onto Ballagreyney Road.

Take the A5 towards Ballasalla on your way out of the airport. Go straight on first and then leave the second roundabout onto the A7 towards Ballabeg. Continue on the A7 and turn right at the T-junction towards Ballabeg. Take the third right onto the B43 between Parville and Coach House. Continue for 1.5 miles to a T junction, turn right onto the A27 for 600 meters and you will find the entrance to the park lane on the left. Turn into the lane and drive slowly for 400 meters. Turn right towards Ballagreyney.
