When I first visited India, I spent six months traveling the length and breadth of the country and I’m so glad I did. It took me a few months to get “Indian legs” and feel confident and comfortable. It took me all the way to immerse myself in the culture and learn about it. India is vast, ancient and complex – and whatever you say about India, you will eventually find the opposite to be true.

Having said that, my advice is at least 2-3 weeks, preferably a month or two. If you are one of those crazy people who love India, you won’t regret it. I also advise you not to move too much. Traveling in India is boring; it’s a great place for a really late trip. Pick one or two different pieces and dive in. Don’t worry about FOMO
