Large Holiday Houses In Alnmouth
At the end of the road leading from the pretty village of Alnmouth (located on the banks of the River Aln) to Alnmouth Golf Club is a large stone barn. As you enter through the front door with lots of storage, you will find the kitchen to your left, fitted with Aga, double oven and appliances, which leads from the lounge to the dining room, comfortably seating 14 guests. There is an open fire, a large picture window overlooking the rear garden and sea and a large seating area leading out onto the balcony.
The fully enclosed walled garden is safe and secure for dogs and children to enjoy and enjoy with plenty of furniture.
Eating and resting. Pass through the gate at the end of the garden, down the grassy, wildflower-covered slope, and stop at Gray Barns’ specialty beach hut before ditching your beach toys to hit the sand. Gear up, step through the gate and you’ll see the six miles of pristine white sand that make up Alnmouth Bay.
Returning to the Gray Barn itself, in the center of the house you’ll find a light and spacious living room with a large L-shaped sofa and TV. Children are always attracted to this room, especially near the bunk room and two single rooms. Four spacious double bedrooms (one with an extra bed) and two twin bedrooms are located at either end of the house and provide privacy for two families living together.

Gray Barns has nine bedrooms for at least 10 adults and an additional 9 children. The accommodation consists of four double bedrooms (one of which has an extra bed), two bedrooms and three bedrooms (one of which has a bunk bed). All main bedrooms are spacious with plenty of space. Single rooms are smaller and bunk rooms are limited. Two-story rooms are more suitable for children, but if necessary, all adult parties can appear in these rooms.
Gray Barns has a fully enclosed garden, patio with picnic benches and outdoor furniture. There is a rotary line dryer. A gate at the end of the garden leads directly to the beach. No barbecues, please.
There is additional parking for 1 car next to the cottage and the driveway. Marked with a chain lock, this space is for Gray Barns guests only, key provided on property.

Gray Barns accepts up to three well-behaved dogs. Guests wishing to bring more than three dogs, please contact us as soon as possible depending on the breed.
Bedding includes premium White Company Egyptian cotton sheets and premium hypoallergenic, fiber-filled duvets and pillows. Hair dryers are available in rooms one and eight. Bath towels and hand towels are provided for all guests. Guest soap is also provided.
Wi-Fi is available and there is a booster system in the house to boost the signal. Most networks have mobile reception.
Gray Barnes sits on a row of benches at the back of the club in Foxton. The residence has been designed to maximize privacy and the garden is walled so offers relative privacy.

Don’t miss the Ferry Hut, housed in a former beach hut, said to be the smallest in the country.
